Description

This 2005 Haines Hunter SF600 is a well-regarded and versatile Kiwi-built boat, known for its soft-riding hull, excellent stability, and practical layout—making it an ideal choice for fishing, cruising, and family adventures.

Powered by a Yamaha 150hp four-stroke outboard with 483 hours, this package delivers reliable performance and efficiency, well suited to both lake and coastal use. It sits on a DMW tandem-axle braked trailer, offering confident towing and easy launching.

In addition to all standard Haines Hunter features, this SF600 comes well equipped with a strong list of extras including a Lowrance Elite 7 GPS/Fishfinder, Cobra VHF radio, and Fusion stereo system for navigation, safety, and entertainment. Comfort is enhanced with a toilet and privacy curtain, making longer days on the water more enjoyable.

Fishing and handling upgrades include Lectro trim tabs, SeaStar hydraulic steering, a wash-down hose, and a stainless bimini with integrated rocket launcher, plus a stainless canopy for added weather protection. A dual-battery system completes the package, providing reliability and peace of mind on the water.

I had the pleasure recently of purchasing a Haines Hunter SF545 Limited edition from Haines Hunter Taupo. The transaction and service I received was outstanding, Brock, Jane, Mike and Terry were outstanding to deal with... The experience was efficient and without any problems, the boat was showroom condition and represented great value. I am happy to say that the boat performs well above expectations, and in my opinion feels like a much larger boat.
I will return in the future and purchase another Haines Hunter.
